EDS-Sustenergy has performed an upgrade in the energetic efficiency of 24 Manioc Productive Chain’s firewood ovens, in Alagoas rural area.
Through the implemented actions the ovens had their energetic efficiency multiplied by 2.5. Previously, 1 m³ of firewood was used in the production of 10 bags, now 0.4 m³ of firewood is enough to make the same 10 bags.
Among the partners of this initiative are the Clean Energy Program (sponsored by USAID), SEBRAE e SEDEC-AL.
